Insulation

Perma-Structo highly encourages insulating the exterior walls of your new home using a rigid foam board insulation. We offer 1" (R-5), 1.5" (R-7.5), and 2" (R-10) insulation.

The type of insulation required on the exterior of the foundation walls is dependent on your energy calculations.

Exterior wall insulation is more superior than interior insulation for the following reasons:

• Reduces heat loss and thermal bridging through the foundation
• Minimizes risk for condensation to form on walls
• Interior basement space is not reduced
• Prevents freeze-thaw cycle damage to the foundation
• When insulated from the top of the wall to the footer, this provides a barrier to prevent the water from coming intact with the concrete wall

Windows & Wells

Perma-Structo offers poured in place windows by Boman Kemp Window Systems and Windows by Unlimited. The Boman Kemp Window System also includes an egress well, grate and ladder. With a window by Unlimited, we offer a RockWell to complete your egress system.

Boman Kemp

Boman Kemp Window Systems standard window option is a 48" x 42". Depending on the height of your basement wall, we would pair a 5ft or 6ft egress well. We also offer a grate cover and ladder to complete your window system.

Unlimited

Windows by Unlimited are available at the standard option of a 30" x 16" or an egress window at 48" x 48". To complete the egress system, we can pair the window with a tan Rockwell by RockWell Window Wells.

Waterproofing

Perma-Structo, Inc. gives the option to add Tuff-N-Dri H8 Waterproofing to all foundations. The waterproof membrane is sprayed on to the house walls. Preventing water leaks and a 15-year warranty gives our customers a peace of mind knowing that their foundation is protected.
